What is rule of thirds and how is it used?
Rule Of Thirds is a term used to display the structure of how you take your picture. In a camera you have these lines which make up to be a grid of 9 squares lining up an object or thing. It basically involves dividing the scene into a grid with 9 equal parts and then positioning the main focus point into one of the lines. The effect of it is this makes the image more engaging.
Rule of thirds allows you to focus on one thing Whilst using this technique you would have to remember about the elements in it such as 1. Balancing elements 2. View point 3. Focus point 4. Symmetry and pattern |
