What is shutter speed and aperture on a camera. How is it used and what is it effect?
Shutter speed is the length of time the click of the picture you are snapping takes and how much light is given in. If the shutter speed is fast it can catch a movement accurately . If you shutter speed is slow it catches the action blurry. Shutter speed is measured in a fraction of a second as you can see from the above diagram. When you click the button to snap a photo, the shutter opens and fully exposes the camera sensor to the light that passes through the lenses. You can change how much light goes through. After the sensor is done collecting the light, the shutter closes immediately, stopping the light from hitting the sensor. For example it's like when you close your blinds in your living room quickly, the light doesn’t come in. You can change how fast or slow the shutter speed goes on your camera like this.
